Portraiture is the art of not only photographing people, but expressing, through that photograph, something of who that person is. And it’s this expression of the human being that is the real trick to portraiture and the reason I most enjoy it. I love to get a feel for someone and take their photograph – not only showing them at their best, but also revealing something of who they are – part of them they want to share with the world.
